AnTuTu’s list of best-performing midrange and flagship phones for November 2020 is now out, and Huawei dominates both lists.
First, let’s see AnTuTu’s list of best-performing flagship phones led by the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and its latest Kirin 9000 processor. It got an average score of 661,059, which is noticeably higher than the second placer, the ROG Phone 3, powered by a Snapdragon 865 Plus.
Clearly, the Kirin 9000 is meant to compete with the new Snapdragon 888 CPU. Albeit, devices with this latest processor will not arrive until early next year. So we’ll see how their arrival will affect this list.
Surprisingly, the third and fourth placers are the OPPO Find X2 Pro and the iQOO Neo 3, which are powered by the non-Plus Snapdragon 865.
The rest of this list is dominated by Qualcomm processors, despite a Kirin chipset topping the list. Samsung devices such as the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 2 made it, but no thanks to their in-house Exynos chipsets.
On the other hand, the AnTuTu midrange top list is pretty diverse. We have devices powered by Kirin, Qualcomm, and MediaTek. But ultimately, a Huawei-made smartphone reign supreme.
Topping the list is the Honor 30 and the Huawei Nova 7, which uses the same Kirin 985. The former had an average score of 405,289. They are followed by Snapdragon 765G-powered smartphones — the Redmi K30 5G and Mi 10 Lite.
The Helio G90T proves once again that it’s one of the most reliable midrange phones around, allowing the Realme 7 and Redmi Note 8 Pro to take the sixth and fifth spots, respectively, beating their newer and more expensive brothers.
Meanwhile, the crowd-favorite POCO X3 NFC managed to take the tenth spot.
With that said, if you’re looking for the best smartphones to get this holiday season, these devices should be on top of your consideration.
