Cherry Mobile Disinfection Box with wireless charging now available - Android

After coming up with a personal air purifier and a UV sterilizer cabinet, the local tech giant launches the Cherry Mobile Disinfection Box. This handy machine can disinfect your smartphone using two ultraviolet (UVC) focus lamps. The box does that while dispersing aromatherapy scent.

There’s a button that lets you set it to do quick 5-minute disinfection or a full 10-minute cleaning. What’s interesting is, this thing powers via a USB Type-C with inputs of 5V/2A and 9V/2A.

Oh, and did we say it’s a multi-function box? Other than cleaning your smartphone, it can charge it, too. This device is equipped with wireless charging, which will work on any wireless charging-capable smartphones. But judging on the pictures, it appears that the wireless charging panel is on the lid on the device, possibly for safety measures. Which means that you can only disinfect or charge your device at a time.

The best part is, it outputs 10W of power, which is faster than most budget wireless chargers. It weighs 337g and has dimensions of 196 x 136.5 x 30.2mm, which should be enough to fit almost all smartphones in the market today.
