Ever thought that the universe as we conventionally know it is far more different and bizarre than what we knew?
For the theoretical physicists affiliated with Microsoft, the universe could actually be a simulation that functions in an autodidactic manner—consequently able to adapt and grow and thereby fickle by nature.
As reported by The Next Web, an arXiv pre-print paper with the title “The Autodidactic Universe,” claims description that the universe being a set of instructions that has the capability of constantly learning about itself. The explanation even going so far as to allude it to our humanity—ever inquisitive, constantly seeking knowledge, and changes based on what it learns.
Not the first to make the assertion, the researchers, as it appears, draw inspiration from notions established in a research by physicist Vitaly Vanchurin who claims that the universe being actually a “massive neural network.”
