Hot on the heels of PUBG Mobile's great success, its developer - South Korean video game holding company, KRAFTON Inc., is slated to release a new and exciting off-shoot title within the first half of 2021.
Set in 2051, PUBG: NEW STATE is an expansion of the original PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds universe. In this new game, 100 players will fight with various weapons and strategies until only one party remains. Players are challenged to make use of gear, vehiclets, and consumables to survive the ever shrinking battleground to become the "last man standing".
According to KRAFTON Inc., PUBG: NEW STATE is the true beginning for PUBG on a mobile device as it defines the next-generation PUBG graphics and offers the ultimate PUBG experience in the palm of your hands.
PUBG: NEW STATE is expected to be released within the first half of 2021 but mobile gamers who use an Android smartphone may already pre-register as early as now.
Here's how you do it:
1. Open Google Play Store on your Android smartphone.
2. Search for "PUBG NEW STATE" and tap on the most relevant result.
3. Then, click on "Pre-register" button to sign up.
4. In the pop-up window, tap "Install when available" button and if you wish so, you may also tick the box for "Get notified to pre-register for other new games we think you'll like".
5. By doing this procedure, PUBG: NEW STATE will be automatically installed to your Android smartphone as soon as it becomes available.
You may unregister to the title at any time by opening the download page for the game and tapping on "Unregister" button.
PUBG: NEW STATE is free to download and according to KRAFTON Inc., the minimum Android smartphone technical specifications required for it are Android 6.0 operating system and 2.5GB of RAM.
There's no official mention about the processor or internal storage but I believe an Octa-Core CPU and at least 8GB of ROM are necessary to run this game smoothly.
Also, I would personally advise to play PUBG: NEW STATE on a smartphone with at least Android 8.0 Oreo OS and 3GB of RAM.
Needless to say, the game will run so much better on devices with more powerful internal hardware than the above-mentioned.
PUBG: NEW STATE will also be available for the Apple iPhone via Apple App Store. However, as of writing, KRAFTON Inc. has yet to start pre-registration for those who own the Cupertino company's handsets. For the iPhone, I think the Apple iPhone 6S will be the most dated model that can run this title smoothly; Just a hunch.
