Facebook is on a “witch hunt” campaign as it sees its social media platform cleanse off of inauthentic Chinese accounts that meddle in both Asian and US politics, the company claims last Tuesday.
Particularly, the company removed a total of 155 accounts on Facebook as well as six accounts in Instagram.
Many of the accounts that see eradication from the platform were spotted in the Philippines, which disseminates outright support of China involving its actions in the disputed South China Sea as well as Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.
