Filipinos are always active in participating in internet memes and challenges. And it goes without saying that we don’t just join in, we go above and beyond to entertain and impress people by showcasing our talent.
There’s a trending challenge today,called the #3EmojiChallenge. The premise is, you’d be give three different emojis and make an artwork out of it. We’ve spotted a couple of #3EmojiChallenge entries online and we thought they deserve your attention.
This one is from user Khem Mary Abalos. The artist was able to turn the Goblin, Lady Vampire, and Smiling Face emojis into this dark but captivating artwork. It was shared on the popular Guhit Potato Facebook page and already garnered 27,000 reactions, 215 comments, and 20,000 shares.
Another artist, Candice Joy Dacanay, was able to make 13 different drawings by using colored pencils, acrylic paint, an A4 Journal, and a little post-editing.
This portrait from Reymart Bejar Ursabia is a profound interpretation of the butterfly, fire, and goblin emoji.
Here’s something a little clever. Rener Cabatas was able to turn the basic white, black, and red dot emojis into this unique mosaic portrait of the popular character Mr. Bean, portrayed by Rowan Atkinson. The artist used Facebook Dark mode and PicsArt for this creation.
