Here’s how to use Pasa Load to pass mobile data from one Smart mobile number to another.

With our new normal comes an increase in time spent online. For smartphone users, that means going through your mobile data fast. And if you find yourself needing more in a pinch, Smart has an innovative feature called Pasa Data that allows one Smart user to pass data to another Smart user.

Pasa Data only works with select data offers, such as Smart’s Giga packages (here’s a complete list of Smart prepaid promos). It’s much like Pasa Load, but instead of passing load credits, you pass on mobile data instead. The service is available to Smart Prepaid, Smart Postpaid, Smart Bro Prepaid, and Smart Bro Postpaid.

Assuming you have extra data you to pass on, here’s how to do it.

How to use Pasa Data using your Smart mobile number

Before you start, make sure you have enough open access data and load credits before proceeding with Pasa Data. The sender will be charged Php 1 for every successful Pasa Data transaction. You can send a minimum 50MB of data. You can also pass data to Smart Prepaid, Smart Bro Prepaid and Talk N Text subscribers.

To use Pasa Data, simply text PASADATA <space> 11 digit mobile number <space> MB amount and send to 808. Example: PASADATA 09181234567 100MB and send to 808.

You will then receive an SMS confirmation, whether or not the transaction is successful. Do remember that the passed data is only valid for 24 hours, regardless of size.
