Commuters who have a thing for two-wheels but have not yet the budget to own one can now enjoy the experience by simply renting as Moovr PH introduces the country’s first-ever bike and e-scooter sharing service.
The business follows a similar model as Spin and Lime in the United States, both of which have been in operation for a few years, and is currently exclusive in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Renting out a ride is as basic as downloading the Moovr app on mobile, heading to the nearest hub, and scanning a QR code to officiate a rent. Both vehicles are usable for up to 24 hours, but e-scooters are required for return upon hitting a battery charge below 15%.
Bikes rent for Php60 per hour, with an incurring charge of Php15 for every 15 minutes or a fraction of such time. On the other hand, e-scooters lease for Php150 per hour, with an incurring charge of Php20 for every 20 minutes or a fraction of such period.
Moovr PH is a venture by Keepr Storage Solutions Inc.—the same company behind Keepr, an application-based storage service.
