The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is set to launch in the Philippines starting December 4, 2020. The powerful flagship has a price tag of Php 55,999, and offers top of the line specs and Huawei Mobile Services.
If you buy one between December 4 to 6, you will will also get the selfie friendly Ring Light Case worth Php 3,999.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a 6.76-inch OLED display that slopes at the sides with 2772 × 1344 resolution and a pill-shaped cutout of the front facing cameras. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.

At the back, The Mate 40 Pro has what they call the “Space Ring Design” that houses three shooters — a 50MP f/1.9 main, a 20MP f/1.8 wide-angle, and a 12MP f/3.4 periscope camera. Meanwhile at the front, there’s a 13MP wide-angle selfie snapper with a ToF 3D sensor.
Inside, the flagship is powered by a 5nm Kirin 9000 chip with four big ARM Cortex A77 cores (one at 3.13Ghz and three at 2.54GHz), and four small ARM Cortex A55 cores. The processor is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It also has a fast 24-core Mali-G78 GPU.
Battery capacity is at 4,400mAh and supports 50-watt wireless fast charging and a blazing 66-watt wired fast charging.
Lastly, the Huawei 40 Pro runs on EMUI 11 based on Android 10, and has Huawei Mobile Services with the App Gallery and Petal Search Widget.
