The Huawei Y9a was just launched as supposedly a global version of the Enjoy 20 Plus.
Probably that you’d immediately notice is its design. As you can see, the Huawei Y9a looks really reminiscent to the flagship Mate 30 Pro of last year, especially with this Space Silver color option and the circular camera layout on the back.
Speaking of which, the quad-camera setup consists of a 64-megapixel main shooter, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and the obligatory 2-megapixel sensors for macro and depth sensing.
Huawei put the 16-megapixel front camera on a pop-up mechanism to achieve its almost bezel-less 6.63-inch FHD+ IPS screen.
The Huawei Y9a’s budget-ness is expressed on its internals. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor. Those of us in the Asia Pacific, as well as those who are in the Middle East and Africa will get the 8B/128GB model, while other markets will have the 6GB/128GB variant.
Keeping the lights on is a 4,300mAh battery with Huawei’s 45W SuperCharge technology.
The official price and availability of the Huawei Y9a is yet to be announced, so stay tuned for that.
