Huawei has officially announced the new EMUI 11 at its Developer Conference 2020. It packs some great features, visual changes, new animation, and optimizations under the hood. But contrary to its name, it is not based on the latest Android 11 operating system.

The multi-window and split-screen features are the most noticeable highlights you will find in the EMUI 11. To get more familiar with it, both features are now in the center rather than being tucked deep in the menu. The Smart Multi-Window sidebar has a dedicated gesture to launch it out, so it can be summoned whichever app you are. A small side window opens with your commonly used applications, which you can drag and drop to start multi-tasking. The windows can be resized any way you like it.
