Principal Architect Jason Buensalido said that the special carport was designed like a raft. This will allow the car to float in place instead of drowning and be ruined forever in case of flooding.

This special floating device was installed in the Marikina home of owners Philip and Malee, who shared a photo of their car safe and floating during the recent Typhoon Ulysses.
