With the ongoing US trade ban on Huawei, the Chinese electronics giant is having a hard time finding business partners to supply their needs. Fortunately, another company got a new license to do business with them.

After AMD, Intel reportedly got the green light as well. The China Securities Journal confirmed the report, so it’s probably safe to say that Huawei’s laptops (and possible PC) will still be able to use Intel chipsets.

Aside from Intel, Qualcomm is also working on getting a license from the US government, which means that we might see Snapdragon processors on Huawei products in place of the company’s in-house chips.

Other companies like SK Hynix and SMIC have reportedly applied for a license, but there’s no update yet whether they got approved or not.
