Smartphone brand Kata has released a new budget phone, the Kata C21.
The Kata C21 features yesteryear’s MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. For some reason, they didn’t reveal the exact battery capacity, but they did say it can last for 660 minutes on standby. That’s pretty disappointing, so the battery may not be more than 4,000mAh.
We then have a large 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS screen on the front, with a punch-hole on the top left for the sharp 20-megapixel selfie camera.
The design on the back is pretty unique. We have a large camera glass that houses all four cameras, LED flash, and the fingerprint scanner — all on the same glass.
In a Facebook post, it’s been revealed the Kata C21 for HKD1,490 (around Php9,200) and is available in Hong-Kong. It’s not clear if it will be available in other markets like the Philippines.
