OPPO subtly launched a new entry-level smartphone in Indonesia, the OPPO A54.
The OPPO A54 has the typical set of specs and features you’d expect from a budget smartphone. It’s powered by an aging 12nm MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor, with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that you can stretch to 256GB further using a microSD card.
We have a 6.51-inch HD+ screen with the traditional 60Hz refresh rate. While peeking through a punch-hole on the top is a 16-megapixel main shooter, which is higher than the 13-megapixel main camera on the back.
The A54 makes up for its underwhelming hardware by having an enormous 5,000mAh battery charged using the 18W Type-C charger.
It comes in Crystal Black and a shiny Starry Blue option with a color gradient. The rectangular camera design is similar to the OPPO A94,
The OPPO A53 is has a price of IDR2,699,000 (around Php8,900) in Indonesia and will be available on both online and offline stores on April 1. Meanwhile, its release details in the Philippines are yet to be known.
