OPPO  has recently launched its ColorOS 11. With its “Make Life Flow” concept, ColorOS 11 maintains stock Android features while focusing on a more personalized UI for OPPO users.

Through the ColorOS 11, users can now create their own Always-On Display, theme,  wallpaper,  fonts, icons, and ringtones. The latest upgrade enhances stock Android’s Dark Mode with three color schemes and levels of contrast. They may also adjust its auto start and off time.

The ColorOS 11 comes with OPPO Relax 2.0 for meditating and breathing exercises. It allows users to create their own white noise mix while also offering an extensive and immersive collection of sounds to help them sleep.

Among the new features of the ColorOS 11 is the Three-Finger Translate. Powered by Google Lens, the function captures and translates text through a simple screenshot taken with a three-finger gesture. Another feature is the Flexdrop that lets users multitask, allowing them to watch videos and text at the same time. The Device Control Menu, on the other hand, switches and controls different smart home devices without having to download new apps. There’s also the Super Power Saving Mode that maximizes available battery by selecting six apps to run in low-battery situations, and Battery Guard for preventing damage from prolonged charging at unstable power voltages by learning user habits. It automatically pauses charging up to 80% when the device is plugged in at night and resumes only by the time the user wakes up.

Other features of the ColorOS 11 include UI First 2.0 with Quantum Animation, SuperTouch for identifying user scenarios and optimizing touch response, AI App preloading of the user’s most-used apps, Privacy System for creating a separate system where the second version of apps and data runs independently of the original,  App Lock for locking apps through passwords, fingerprint, or facial recognition, Auto-Reset Permissions for returning the unused apps’ settings in default, and Temporary Permissions that reset the camera, microphone, and location access when the app is closed. It also places storage restrictions on apps for limiting access to the user’s phone data.

The ColorOS 11 will be released batch-by-batch starting with the Find X2 series, and Reno 3 series. The complete roll-out will cover more than 28 phone models, including Find, Reno, F, K, and A series in the next few weeks.
