The X3 SuperZoom introduced last month by Realme has been followed up with the launch of the Realme X3. As the name suggests, the device lacks the periscope module that’s in the SuperZoom, which has now prompted the introduction of the 12MP conventional telephoto camera rather than the 8MP.
The Realme X3’s selfie camera with 16MP primary shooter and 8MP ultra-wide snapper is another difference with the X3 SuperZoom. Aside from that, the camera is still in a lookalike pill-shaped cutout. The SuperZoom and the standard variant are identical in every other thing except the storage configuration and camera setup.
Realme X3 packs a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and dual punch-hole display. The fingerprint scanner is still located on the right-hand side.

The main camera features 1/1.72-inch Samsung GW1 64MP sensor, with a large aperture of f/1.8, and 6P lens, which the company claims enhances the resolution and image quality even when taken in low light. The main camera teams up with an 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro and a 12MP telephoto snapper that get up to 2x optical zoom.
It is powered by the 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset, along with 8GB or 6GB of RAM and UFS 3.0 storage of 128GB. The device will run on Android 10 with Realme UI at the base. It will come with a 4,200 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support
The Realme X3 is scheduled to go on sale June 30 via the company’s online store and Flipkart, with availability in offline stores to follow soon. It’s going to be available in two variant colours, white and blue with a price tag of about $330 (~Php16,500) for the 6GB/128GB version. On the other hand, the 8GB/128GB version will cost around $343 (~Php17,250).
