The Redmi 9T is now official. Xiaomi starts 2021 with a value-packed budget phone that features a 6.53-inch display, a 48MP main camera, and a 6,000mAh battery.
The base model starts at EUR 159 (around ~Php 9,400). There are four variants, including models equipped with NFC. You can find the pricing details towards the end of this post.
Lets start with the spec sheet. The Redmi 9T comes feature packed for a budget phone. Up front, it has a large 6.53-inch FHD+ Dot Drop display with a dew drop notch housing an 8MP selfie camera, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Around the back are four cameras, namely a 48MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone has a new movie frame feature that gives photos a more cinematic look and feel without editing. It also sports a new time-lapse feature which offers various speed and duration values for shooting.
Inside, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 powers the Redmi 9T, with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. It also boasts of a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 18-watt fast charging. In the box is a 22.5-watt fast charger.
The rest of the specs include a USB-C port, stereo speakers, an IR blaster, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Redmi 9T comes in Carbon Gray, Carbon Blue, Sunrise Orange, and Ocean Green in four variants with the following price tags:
The phone will be available in Europe starting January for the non-NFC models, and February for the NFC enabled models. No news yet on when it will launch in the Philippines.
