Redmi G budget gaming laptop revealed with 144Hz screen, NVIDIA 1650 Ti, Intel Core i7 CPU - Android

Let’s get into it. The Redmi G Gaming Laptop is available in three configurations: there’s the Intel Core i5-10200H CPU / NVIDIA GTX 1650 GPU / 60Hz screen for a price of CNY4,999 (around Php35,000), Intel Core i5-10300H / GTX 1650 Ti / 144Hz for CNY5,799 (~Php40,600), while the top-tier Intel Core i7-10750H / GTX 1650 Ti / 144Hz model costs CNY6,599 (approximately Php46,200).

Being a gaming laptop, it’s not the most compact device around with its 16.1-inch display. Albeit, it’s still relatively sleek for a gaming machine. The screen itself has FHD resolution with 100% sRGB coverage. No official word if it sports G-Sync.

The small chassis also means that it will have a relatively small battery, 55Wh to be exact. However, Xiaomi did promise that its large cooling vents and heat pipes will improve the thermals.

It’s also well-equipped in the connectivity department. It comes with WiFi 6, Gigabit Ethernet, and Bluetooth 5.1. You can check the full specs list below.

The Xiaomi Redmi G will be available in China starting August 17. Weather or not it will release on other markets, especially in the Philippines, is yet to be announced.
