Xiaomi has introduced this year’s installment to the popular series under the Redmi line: the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro.
Launched alongside the Redmi K40 Pro Plus, the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro will feature Snapdragon 800-series CPUs, a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED screens, and 360Hz touch sampling, the highest we’ve seen on a smartphone.
The Redmi K40 Pro, just like the Plus model, features a flagship Snapdragon 888 chip, possibly the fastest in the market today. Meanwhile, the latter has a Snapdragon 870 processor, another modern flagship CPU from Qualcomm.
Both models then share the same 4,520mAh battery, 33W fast charging, stereo speakers, 20-megapixel selfie camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and 5-megapixel macro.
The main difference here, besides the processors, is their main cameras. The Redmi K40 has a 48-megapixel sensor, while the Redmi K40 Pro has a sharper 64-megapixel shooter.
