RedmiBook Air 13 with 10th-gen processors, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage launched - Android

As everyone flock on the new Redmi G gaming laptop, the company also launched the new RedmiBook Air 13. A sleeker, more elegant productivity and entertainment machine from the Chinese company.

It features an ultra-light all-metal body that only weighs around 1kg and is 12.99mm thin. The device is only available in a single gray color. The exact dimensions are 297.5 (length) and 212mm (width).

Opening the lid, we have the 13.3-inch 2.5K display with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 100% sRGB and DCI coverage, and peaks at 300-nits of brightness. The screen is partnered with 2x2W stereo speakers with DTX Audio Processing.

For connectivity, we have WiFi 6, dual-band WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.1. The port selection is quite disappointing. We only have two USB Type-C port on the right side — which can handle charging, data, and display output — and the headphone jack. The left corner only has the fan grills for the exhaust.

It then comes with a pretty sleek USB Type-C cable and 65W adapter for charging, which you can use on your smartphone.

The RedmiBook Air 13 comes with the 10th-Gen Intel processors, Intel UHD graphics, and a fan-and-copper-pipes combo for cooling. The base model has an Intel Core i5-10210Y processor, with 8GB LPDDR3 2133MHz RAM and 512GB of SATA SSD, and has a price of CNY4,699 (around Php32,900).

We also have the Intel Core i5-10210Y model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD for CNY4,999 (around Php35,000). Meanwhile, the top-tier model with Intel Core i7-10510Y, 16GB RAM, and 512GB storage is priced CNY5,699 (around Php39,900). It’s now available in China, while international release, including here in the Philippines, is yet to be announced.
