In a recent study which ranks companies from all over the world in terms of quality as an employer, Samsung tops the ranking, based on participants’ response.

The research made use of the following as metrics for the benchmark: gender equality, talent acquisition, global health issue response, etc. Working side-by-side with Forbes on the study is Statistica, which is a market research firm.

A total of 160,000 participants from across 58 countries joined the research, all of which doing so anonymously and are reportedly working either full-time or part-time by their respective company.

Based on the report, the study was conducted within a span of a month from June to July, 2020.

Beating the list of 750 MNCs (Multi-National Corporations), Samsung Electronics emerged as number 1. Rival company LG ranked 5^th, although outranking both Apple and Huawei.

Samsung’s achievement in the ranking is not without its merits, however. In light of the pandemic which disrupted productions all over the globe, Samsung took actions that upheld people’s safety over profit while at the same time engaging in philanthropic acts, particularly in India via PM CARES.
