Samsung has recently unveiled some details of its upcoming chipset, the Samsung Exynos 1080.

As posted by Antutu, the Samsung Exynos 1080 utilizes semi-conductor technology and is based on a 5nm architecture. Its specific process was not stated. However, it is speculated to use the same 5nm LPE process from Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 which increases energy efficiency.

According to Samsung Semiconductor China Research Institute director Dr. Pan Xuebao, the Samsung Exynos 1080 uses ARM’s latest CPU architecture Cortex-A78 and the latest GPU architecture Mali-G78.
