Intel is taking portable computer processing to new heights with the launch of the Intel 11th-gen Tiger Lake mobile processors which coincides the “Intel Evo” branding that derives from the Project Athena Program. One of its biggest partners, Samsung, is making the first adoption of this new piece of hardware with the launch of the Galaxy Book Flex 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy Flex 5G is the South Korean company’s initial foray into the 5G laptop business, which comes with the right specifications any consumer would expect for a modern hardware.

Intuitively, the laptop will be powered by Intel’s latest brainchild CPU, either i5 or i7, which is touted as both energy efficient and capable of performance never seen before.

Other important pieces of hardware include a 512Gb of SSD storage memory, 16Gb of RAM, 69.7Wh battery, 13-mp “world-facing” camera, backlit keyboard, and a built-in S Pen.

At 13.3 inches, the Galaxy Flex 5G has a display resolution of 1920×1080. Meaning, it runs on 1080p despite a relatively small screen.

Thin enough at no more than 15mm in thickness, the laptop is also light enough at 1.26 kilograms (2.7 pounds).
