But other than it’s sleeker design and bigger cover screen, the tech giant didn’t reveal any much about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. Now, the company confirmed that it will be holding an Unpacked Part 2 event on September 1 as a special stage for its new foldable smartphone.

A day before its official release, the full specs list of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 leaked online. Considering the device’s confirmed design, and the modern flagship features we have in today’s smartphones, these rumored details kinda checks out.

For starters, that tall and almost bezel-less screen on the front is a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED panel. There’s a punch-hole in the middle for the 10-megapixel selfie camera.

The main highlight here is the 7.3-inch tablet-like foldable screen on the inside, with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate that we see in a lot of flagships today. It should have the same 10-megapixel punch-hole camera. Both displays have similar pixel density so they should look equally sharp.

Meanwhile, the triple cameras on the back look and feels the same as the vanilla Note 20. It has a 12-megapixel main camera, 12-megapixel telephoto, and 12-megapixel ultra-wide.

Under the hood, it’s powered by — thankfully — a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor. But there’s still a chance that the one we’re at the US-only model, as the first Galaxy Fold only came with an Exynos processor.

Albeit, the Galaxy Z Flip 2 did have Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, so we can never know for sure until we have the word from Samsung themselves.
