Last September, Xiaomi announced a developing product that is aimed to line up with the company’s list of ultra-premium devices, with its most notable feature being the design that covers it in display. The product did not see launch in its supposed December release window and was subsequently delayed indefinitely.
Despite what appears to be a product that saw failed market launch, Xiaomi seems keen in coming up with an improved version of the device, presumably a second-generation, that earns the moniker Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha 2.
In collaboration with LetsGoDigital, Concept Creator has come up with a render of how the device would look like—which is a stray from conventional design as seen from the outset.
Not only is the Mi Mix Alpha 2 indeed blanketed with waterfall screens front to back (partially at the back), the smartphone also seems to lack a punch hole at the front which implies that the front camera could be lying from the inside that pops up when needed akin to Mi 9T/Mi 9T Pro.
Another noteworthy aspect of the design is the rather large camera at the back, which would potentially highlight the phone’s diverse and versatile photographic capabilities.
