Typhoon Ulysses have extremely hit areas areas of Central Luzon, Metro Manila, and Calabarzon. This caused floods, evacuation, and unsurprisingly, power interruptions.
It’s been reported that about 1.9 million or 27 percent of Meralco customers experienced power interruption as of Thursday noon.
In a statement, Joe Zaldarriaga, Meralco’s head of corporate communications, said that they are putting all efforts to restore power as soon as possible despite the constraints faced. They assured customers that they are working round the clock to bring back power supply to those who lost it because of the typhoon.
Earlier, it’s said that about 3.8 million or 56 percent of its customers have experienced power interruption.
