The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro made their global debut with a couple of hardware changes.
One of the key changes on the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro Global versions is the processor. The international models are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, replacing the Exynos 1080 models in China last December. Both models also have a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the downside, the Vivo X60 Pro now lacks a periscope lens. Still, it has the same 48-megapixel main shooter with a wide f/1.5 aperture. Vivo’s own gimbal system is also present plus, ZEISS lenses.
The screen is identical to the previous version. It has a 6.56-inch AMOLED screen with HDR10+ support, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling.
A 4,200mAh battery and 33W fast charging is also onboard. Albeit, it looks like the new OriginOS is not ready for a global debut, so this one runs on FuntouchOS 11.1.
Meanwhile, the Vivo X60 has a couple of similar changes that the former have. The 6.56-inch FHD+ is still at 120Hz refresh, but this time it’s flat. The gimbal-like stabilization was also replaced with regular OIS technology.
Being a cheaper option, the battery is slightly higher at 4,300, but the charging is the same at 33W.
The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro went live in Malaysia with placeholders for prices, so we can’t confirm their SRP as of now. Albeit, we do expect these models to be the ones to arrive in the Philippines. Let’s wait and see.
