Vivo Y20G - Helio G80, 5000mAh battery, Triple rear cameras - Android

As usual, the Vivo Y20G is meant for the entry-level market. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor, with a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, which has started to penetrate the below-Php10,000 market after being a mainstay on the midrange category.

Like most budget phones, it has an enormous 5,000mAh battery, which charges via an 18W charger. On the downside, despite most competition now sporting USB Type-C, it’s still stuck at microUSB.

We then have a 6.51-inch HD+ screen on the front, with a waterdrop notch for the 8-megapixel selfie camera. While on the back, there’s a triple camera setup led by a 13-megapixel main shooter.

The Vivo Y20G is manufactured in India as part of the Make in India program. It has a price of INR14,990 (around Php9,800) and will be initially available in the said country. Whether it will arrive in the Philippines or not is yet to be determined. Alternatively, you can check the Y20i, which is available locally for Php7,499.
