Vivo introduced an affordable model for its popular iQOO line. Unlike its powerful brothers, the Vivo iQOO U1X is meant for the entry-level market.
The Vivo iQOO U1x features a humble Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 octa-core processor, like what we have on the latest Realme 7i. It can be coupled with either 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB, or 6GB/128GB of RAM and storage configuration.
Just like most budget phones, it only has a 720p 6.51-inch LCD display. But to make up for it, Vivo rigged it with a large 5,000mAh battery. What’s disappointing is the use of a microUSB port instead of Type-C.
We then have a waterdrop notch for the 8-megapixel selfie camera, while the back has a rectangular camera glass housing three cameras: 13-megeapixel main shooter, and two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and bokeh shots.
The Vivo iQOO U1x starts at CNY899 (around Php6,500) for the 4GB/64GB model, CNY999 (around Php7,300) for the 6GB/64GB, and CNY1,199 (around Php8,700) for the 6GB/128GB variant. It will initially arrive in China, while its release details in other countries like the Philippines are yet to be known.
