Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra leaks, to sport 120x camera zoom - Android

It’s been rumored that the Redmi K30 Pro and Mi 10 Pro will be getting special 10-year anniversary models. The Chinese tech giant is yet to reveal any details about the upcoming Redmi device, but the new Mi 10 Pro version has already been spotted online.

The said device is rumored to be called the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro Ultra — and judging by its name, it has its crosshairs pointed to the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra.

A couple of marketing materials for the said device have been leaked from a Twitter user. There’s a digital and on-hand printed copy of the same poster that reveals the back of the device. It shows the quad-camera setup, highlighting the periscope-stype telephoto lens with the printed “120x”. It has a focal leangth of 12-120mm with an aperture range of f/1.8 to f/4.1.

A 120x zoom surely blows the competition out of the water. The Galaxy S20 Ultra caps out at 100x, then, Samsung dialed it down to 50x on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.

The banner also reveals that the device will be available in Ceramic White/Silver and transparent — a signature style to Xiaomi’s flagship line.

Another leaked material reveals the specs of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra. It shows that the device will sport the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, just like what the ROG Phone 3 and Legion Phone Duel have. It’s partnered with an improved vapor chamber for cooling, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The ceramic models are expected to have 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations while the transparent one will start at 12GB/256GB and will exclusively have the top-of-the-line 16GB/512GB variation.

The curved screen on the front will use a 120HZ FHD+ AMOLED panel. It will have an always-on feature, which looks really swell on the also-leaked cover case.

To juice it up, the Mi 10 Ultra is expected to have a 4,500mAh battery with possibly Xiaomi’s 120W fast charger and 40W wireless charger. We’ll bring you more updates about this device once they are available, so stay tuned for that.
