Xiaomi Mi Drone Mini now available for only Php3,450 - Android

Whether you’re in it for photography/videography or just for fun, you can’t go wrong with the Xiaomi Mi Drone Mini. Especially since it only costs Php3,450 here in the Philippines. In fact, you can get two or more of them and play with friends with its Aerial Combat feature.

It’s so small and thin you can hold the main body with your hands. But unlike the DJI Mavic Air 2 and other compact (but expensive) drones, you really can’t fold it and put it in your pocket. You can remove the propellers and propeller guards, but the rounded design would still be sticking out.

As per Xiaomi, it uses a special composite material that makes it lightweight and has a built that makes it shock-absorbant.

The 720p camera is attached on the body itself, so don’t expect any stabilization here. It records videos with a 1280 x 720 resolution, and photos at 1600 x 1200 resolution.

It connects to your phone via 5.8GHz WiFi that enables its FPV HD video transmission. The control range is about 50m with a height of 25m.

On the inside, it has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, with 4GB of storage. It comes with a 920mAh that provides about 10 minutes of flight time. A full charge will take an hour, though.
