Xiaomi has unveiled two new additions to its Mi TV Master series, and both models are 82-inch behemoths.
Cheaper of the two at ¥9,999 (approx. ₱71,000), the Xiaomi Mi Master 4K TV is the so-called regular edition that features, as indicated in the name, 4K resolution along with a 10-bit panel, 240 dimming zones, and 1000-nit brightness level. It’s powered by a MediaTek 9650 chip in tandem with 4GB RAM and 64GB secondary storage.
The Extreme Anniversary Edition, on the other hand, costs ¥49,999 (~₱355,000). For that price, this model boasts 8K resolution, mini-LED panel (i.e., 960 dimming zones), 2000-nit brightness level. Running under the hood is a Novatek72685 processor, with 4GB RAM and 256GB storage. The model comes with 5G connectivity too.

Both models come with HDMI 2.1 connectivity, 120Hz refresh rate and MEMC technology. MIUI is the preinstalled operating system.
So far, the availability of these two new models is limited to China only, starting October 21.
