As you can see, it’s different from the initial model that came out in China in November last year. The Xiaomi Mi Watch global variant features a more apt circular screen, which has a 1.39-inch AMOLED panel, a 454 x 454-pixel resolution, and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Instead of running on Wear OS like what the OPPO Watch and other Android smartwatches are, the Mi Watch runs on its own proprietary operating system.

Xiaomi claims that this allowed its 420mAh battery to stretch for up to 16-days on a single 2-hour charge.

Still, it seems to carry the similar specs that its competitors have. The heart-rate sensor, built-in GPS, and 5ATM water resistance will let the watch record 117 types of exercises — even swimming —, sleep quality, blood-oxygen saturation (Sp02), and more.

The Xiaomi Mi Watch can do basic smartwatch stuff like smartphone control, notifications, and even has a built-in voice assistant.

Of course, the Xiaomi Mi Watch will come with different wrist strap colors. An NFC model will also ship in select markets.

The Xiaomi Mi Watch has a price of EUR99 (around php5,600). It should be available outside Europe, especially here in the Philippines, in the months to come.
