Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite - Colored screen, built-in GPS, 9-day battery - Android

As the name suggests, the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite is the cheaper version of the Mi Watch. However, it’s essentially the global version of the Redmi Watch that came out in China last month.

For starters, there’s a similar 1.4-inch colored touchscreen on the front with a 320 x 320 pixel resolution. It’s rigged with an ambient light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment. You can also pick from over 120 watch faces that fit your taste.

It then comes with a heart-rate monitor (PPG), barometer, GPS and GLONASS, accelerometer, and gyroscope sensors to help track steps, 11 workout modes, sleep quality, and more. The watch is 5ATM water-resistant so that you can do water sports with it.

The Mi Watch Lite comes with a 230mAh battery, which the company claims can last for up to nine days under normal usage. A continuous GPS use will drain the battery after 10 hours. Charging is done via the included dock.

You can get the Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite for CNY299 (around Php2,200). It should be available in markets like the Philippines soon. It comes in five different colors: Ivory, Pink, Black, Navy Blue, and Olive.
