Despite the perception that sees Xiaomi as the “Apple of China,” the company is not keen on adopting whatever trend Apple is running on consumers. One specifically is the latter’s decision to go full-on “eco-friendly” as to ditch including chargers in its upcoming devices, moving forward.
Conversely, Xiaomi will remain committed in its practice of delivering a complete set of products in every package to consumers, which obviously meant that a charger will be included. Giving an example to the notion is the showcase of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite via a tweet, showing what consumers could expect to get out-of-the-box.
But not altogether ignoring the lingering issue of eco-friendliness, Xiaomi is instead opting to reduce its consumption of plastic as part of the manufacturing process. Also, in Twitter, the company claims to stick to this goal, particularly in Europe, where it is drastically reducing its usage of plastic by 60 percent.
