We’re still months away until Apple officially unveils the iPhone 12 series. Despite that, we’ve already seen a lot of information about these upcoming devices.
We already have an idea of how they will look like, what the new features are, and the storage options. All without having any confirmation from Apple.
Well, not until now. This information came from a document from the Eurasian database regulatory body. It reveals nine different model numbers that were said to be “Smartphones of the Apple Brand”. We’ve never seen these numbers on iPhones before, thus confirming the existence of the variety of iPhone models that are about to arrive.
The first two model numbers were the A2176 and A2172, which is the new small and compact 5.4-inch iPhone 12 model. No, it’s not the successor to the iPhone 11. That title will be for the new 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max, which are presented as the A2341 and A2342.
Meanwhile, the model numbers A2403, A2407, A2408, and A2411 will be for the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.
However, there’s one model number that doesn’t seem to have a clear match. The A2399 looks new and different, and could possibly be a special version of the iPhone 12 or 12 Max with or without 5G. Whatever that may be, you’re guess is as good as ours.
We’ll have more information about the iPhone 12 once they’re available. In the meantime, we have compiled every details we know about the iPhone 12 series for you to check out.
