Vivo’s gaming sub-branch iQOO has revealed in a press conference today its 120W Super FlashCharge technology that can fully charge a 4000mAh battery in just 15 minutes.
To prove its 15-minute claim, the press conference began with a demo of the charger being plugged in and juicing up a dead battery. The iQOO official then proceeded to discuss how the fast charging works: a dual-cell battery design that splits into circuits and ultimately charges 2000mAh cells each at 60 watts (5A at 12V).

Sure enough, when the iQOO official finished his talk after about 15 minutes, the battery was full. The iQOO Super FlashCharge 120W appears to be similar to the fast charging solution from Vivo’s sister company Oppo (both are subsidiaries of BBK Electronics).
The first iQOO phones to have a proprietary charging brick with the Super FlashCharge 120W charging solution are hinted to arrive as early as August.
