The realme C15 is finally official in the Philippines. The handset comes with a 6,000mAh with 18W fast charging.
We have the special edition 3GB + 64GB variant on hand. And while the review is building up, here’s our unboxing and first impressions.
This is the 3GB + 64GB special edition variant and it comes in a new box that features custom doodle graphics from realme community member and doodle challenge winner, Vince Ricohermoso.
This is exclusively available on Lazada starting August 20 with a price of PHP 6,490. Also available is the 4GB + 64GB variant for PHP 6,990.
The box itself is quite unique. It looks great, actually, akin to a work of art. The doodle very much represents the realme brand — youthful, energetic, and fresh.
The iconic yellow box with the special doodle aside, the realme C15 is packed with an 18W charger, a microUSB cable, the usual documentation, and a SIM eject tool. It doesn’t come with a case, which is unfortunate but understandable, considering the price.
Our review unit is in Power Blue. From the front, you’ll be hard-pressed to tell it apart from other realme handsets. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ Mini-drop display with an 8MP selfie camera on a water drop notch. With the thin bezels, this results to an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio.

At the back, you have a four cameras in a square setup. The back panel is made from plastic with a textured matte finish. You also get a fingerprint scanner.
The phone itself feels good in the hand. There’s a bit of flex, but for the price, the build quality is actually pretty solid.
Like other realme phones, the volume rocker and the power button is on the right with the SIM slot on the left. At the bottom is the 3.5mm headphone jack, the microphone, microUSB port, and the mono speaker.
The realme C15 is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage. In basic operation, it’s responsive and smooth so far.
Powering the handset is one of its highlight features, the 6000mAh battery. realme Philippines actually livestreamed a simple battery test. The results? The realme C15 ran for 24 hours straight with some juice left for a few more hours. Impressive if you ask me.
