In partnership with Nintendo, Fujifilm Corporation introduces the INSTAX Mini Link for Nintendo Switch smartphone printer (Mini Link Special Edition).

The special edition printer features similar accent colors of blue and red to that of the Nintendo Switch. The new Mini Link Special Edition and related product App are expected to be released to authorized Fujifilm product dealers on April 30, 2021, along with the launch of the new Pokemon Snap game for the Nintendo Switch system.

The app allows filters and frames to be added to screenshots taken using the Nintendo Switch capture function, which can then be printed onto INSTAX via the Mini Link Special Edition. A QR Code scan of the game screen using the Mini Link Special Edition App allows the image to be printed with a variety of frames based on characters from certain switch games such as New Pokemon Snap, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Super Mario Odyssey. Current INSTAX MINI Link users can also download this new App for free.

The new Mini Link Special Edition is priced at USD 99.95 and is expected to retail in late April 2021. On the other hand, the bundle is expected to be available late May 2021 with a price tag of USD 119.95.

The app can be downloaded from both Google Play and the App Store. Note, however, that there are some countries and regions where consumers will not be able to download the dedicated SmartPhone App “INSTAX MINI LINK for Nintendo Switch.”
