As newer models are announced, a couple of older iPhones have been discontinued. So the question is, what iPhones can you get in 2020? We have the answers.
After the iPhone 12 series came out last October 14, the company also showcased the new iPhone 2020 line-up, which removes a couple of prominent models.
The most important ones are the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. Removing these 2019 models actually makes sense since it already bears a lot of similarities over the latest iPhone 12 and 12 Pro Max.
Earlier this year, Apple also discontinued that iPhone 8 and 8 Plus when they introduced the new budget iPhone, the iPhone SE 2020.
With that, Apple has killed four older iPhones this year. However, their cancellations are sensible, as the current line-up’s prices are well positioned away from each other.
As you can see, the iPhone SE starts at USD399 (Php26,490), 2018’s iPhone XR for USD499 (Php31,990), and the iPhone 11 at USD599 (Php37,99).
Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max have the same US price as their predecessors. So we expect them to arrive in the Philippines for the same starting SRPs of Php67,990 and Php73,990, respectively.
