Nokia has brought the new C1 Plus in the Philippines as one of the cheapest 4G-enabled phones in the country.
Introduced back in December, the Nokia C1 Plus is powered by an unnamed quad-core processor, with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The underwhelming hardware is backed by the efficient Android 10 Go Edition software.
The rest of the specs are something you’d expect from a really affordable smartphone. There’s a compact 5.45-inch screen on the front and a 2,500mAh battery on the inside that charges via microUSB using a 5W wall adapter.
It then has two 5-megapixel sensors for selfies and casual snaps. No ultra-wide, depth-sensor, or even a fingerprint scanner. On the upside, being a Nokia phone, expect it to get at least two upcoming major Android updates.
The Nokia C1 Plus has an official price of Php3,590. It will be initially available in Shopee on January 18 and will then hit the Nokia online store and physical shops nationwide starting the 25th.
