The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is finally official. The smartphone features a 108MP main camera, S Pen support, and all the bells and whistles expected from a flagship.

As mentioned, the phone supports a new version of the S Pen for hand written notes or as a remote control for the camera shutter.

At the front, the Galaxy S21 Ultra has a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a dynamic refresh rate that ranges from 10Hz for static content and up to 120Hz for movies and games, all while at WQHD+ resolution.

Under the hood, you have a 5nm Exynos 2100 processor with a 5G modem. According to Samsung, the new SoC has up to 20% faster CPU performance, up to 35% faster GPU, and an NPU that’s twice as fast as the previous generation chipset.

Around the back, you have a quad camera setup with a 108MP main with OIS, a 10MP telephoto with up to 3x zoom, another 10MP telephoto lens with a higher 10x zoom, and a 12MP ultra-wide with a 120 degree field of view.

The main camera has a phase detection AF system. It also has a laser AF for a more accurate focusing. All four cameras can record 4K videos. While the selfie shooter has a 40MP sensor in tiny punch hole on the top center of the display.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra also has a 5,000mAh battery with Wireless PowerShare, and fast wired and wireless charging. It also features AKG stereo speakers, IP68 certification, and Samsung DeX integration.

Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra has a price of Php 69,990 in the Philippines. Pre-order starts on January 15 to 28, 2021, bundled with freebies including a Galaxy Buds Pro, a Galaxy Tab A 8.0m, a SmartTag, and a 25-watt wall charger.

On the first week of availability from January 29 to February 7, pre-orders will get an additional Php 2,000 worth of accessory token and Php 2,000 worth of Samsung Care+.

From January 29 to March 31, customers can Trade-in Trade-up their old smartphones for discounted rates.
