The pandemic has forced Filipino students to face the unconventional education of distance learning. The said system involves mainly using the internet. Thus, gadgets such as smartphones are not only needed but also necessary. 

With this, OPPO Philippines has donated 100 units of OPPO A12e and Rockspace Bluetooth earphones to the international non-profit organization, Save the Children. The project will benefit Filipino students residing in Metro Manila. It aims to aid these students with their upcoming online classes.

The donation is also part of the brand’s Back-To-School campaign which offers discounts to its select items. These smartphones include OPPO Reno2, Reno2 F, A9 2020, and A5s.

To further collect funds, OPPO also organized a fundraising event with Save the Children’s Project Aral. The goal is to raise PHP500,000 for the learning kit which includes notebooks, pencils, and other leaning materials.
