OPPO is set to set the trend in the way we see long-distance photography as it announced its revolutionary hybrid zoom technology earlier this week, which highlights a lossless image quality regardless of the focal length—a “what you see is what you get” photographic experience.

Essentially a combination of a periscopic zoom lens structure, a large sensor, and an improved imaging code, the new technology employs the following advantages:

• Exceptional optical capability and image resolution as enforced by three clusters of periscopic zoom lens that totals seven lenses overall.
• Optical zoom commensurate to focal lengths of 85mm and 135mm.
• Full utilization of each optical lens by taking advantage of the f/3.3 and f/4.4 apertures.
• Focal length coverage of 85mm to 280mm drawing from the combination of multi-focal length image fusion technology called Fusion, super resolution smart instructions, and multi-camera field-of-view alignment technology.
• Corresponding auto-focus and optical stabilization modules as well as custom 16-bit high-precision driver IC.
• 32 million pixel max output drawing from the most recent hybrid zoom system that taps at large imaging sensor at 16:11 width.
