vivo recently launched two new smartphones in the Philippine. The vivo X50 Pro and vivo X50 are the brand’s first with 5G in the country.
The vivo X50 Pro is priced at PHP 39,999. The phone is available for pre-order in vivo’s online and offline stores until August 28. It is also available through Home Credit at 9, 12, 14 or 18 months installment plans. The handset is coming to Smart as well.
Pre-orders will come with a free JBL Go 2 Bluetooth speaker and six months extended warranty.
The vivo X50, on the other hand, is priced at PHP 25,999, with the same payment options as the pro variant. Pre-order freebies include a 10,000mAh powerbank, a case, and 6-months extended warranty.
The real gem is the vivo X50 Pro. The handset has a quad camera setup with a custom 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor with a gimble stabilization. The tech works with a double-ball suspension mount and uses mechanical movement to achieve stabilization during shooting videos and stills.
It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Battery capacity is at 4,315mAh with 33W flash charge and Funtouch OS 10.5, which takes cues from stock Android.

Its other cams include an 8MP periscope telephoto with up to 5x optical zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 13MP portrait, in addition to the 32MP selfie shooter.
The vanilla vivo X50 is no slouch. It has the same custom 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor but with OIS, instead of the gimbal technology. The other cameras include a 13MP depth, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 5MP macro.
This one has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also has a smaller 4,200mAh battery, still with a 33W fast charging. The AMOLED display is the same at 6.56-inch with a 90Hz refresh rate.
