SKY Evo Digibox now official - Android

The SKY Evo Digibox is not your typical Digibox. Besides the usual features that this type of device offers, it also has smart and internet features that can be seen on products like the Mi Box and other Android TV devices.

For one, it runs on Android TV, which can essentially turn your non-Smart flatscreen TV into one. It comes with Google Play that lets you download over 5,000 popular streaming and Android apps like Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Prime, and iWantTFC.

But as per the web page’s FAQs, Netflix is yet to be available on the Evo.

It also has Ok Google support and Chromecast built-in, so you can mirror and cast content from your smartphone. This is all made possible with its WiFi connectivity. You can then connect wireless speakers, controllers, external hard drives, and flash drives via Bluetooth connectivity and the USB port.

Of course, there are the usual Digibox features. With the Evo, you can get access to over 190 cable channels and Skycable channels.

New SKY subscribers can get the SKY Evo starting with the plan Php999, which comes with 10HD and 39 SD channels. You can also get it on any of SKY Fiber Unli broadband plans. Meanwhile, existing SKY subscribers can get it for as low as Php1,500. You can check out the plans below.
