The new Samsung Galaxy M02 is the company’s latest contender in the entry-level segment.
As the name suggests, the Samsung Galaxy M02 is a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy M02s. It retains some of the key features, like the 6.5-inch HD+ screen and a 5,000mAh battery.
But this time, it comes with a MediaTek MT6739W quad-core processor, with 32GB of storage that can go up to 1TB via a microSD card and an option between 2GB or 3GB of RAM.
The dedicated depth sensor is now missing, but no one really misses that. On the upside, the 13-megapixel main shooter and 2-megapixel macro were kept, as well as the 5-megapixel selfie camera.
Like other Galaxy M devices, the Samsung Galaxy M02 will first head to India, where it has a price of INR6,999 (around Php4,600) for the 2GB/32GB, but will be down to INR6,799 (around Php4,500) as an introductory offer. The SRP for the 3GB/32GB model is yet to be announced.
