After a bevy of leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series are finally official with the unveiling of the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and the top end Galaxy S21 Ultra. The flagship series feature 5G connectivity, Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays and Exynos 2100 processors. And no, the phones don’t come with chargers in the box.
Similar to the last models, the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ are two sides of the same coin. They both come with the same specs, except for differences in screen sizes (6.2-inch and 6.7-inch) and battery capacities (4,000mAh to 4,800mAh).
The rest is the same. The display uses a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a full HD resolution, adaptive refresh rates ranging from 48Hz to 120Hz, up to 1,500 nits of brightness, and 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio. It also has the new generation ultrasonic fingerprint scanner underneath it.

Under the hood resides a new 5nm Exynos 2100 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The processor promises up to 20% faster CPU performance, up to 35% faster GPU, and an NPU that is twice as fast as the previous generation. It also has a 5G modem and supports Samsung DeX integration.
As for the cameras, there are three at the back with a 12MP main, a 12MP ultra-wide and a 64MP telephoto camera. A 10MP shooter for selfies is in the front on a small punch hole at the top center.

The rest of the specs include comes with AKG-tuned stereo speakers tuned, IP68 certified dust and water resistant builds, Wireless PowerShare, fast wired charging, and fast wireless charging.
As the name suggests, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is the ultra-premium variant with pro-level specs and features.
First and foremost, the Ultra variant supports the S Pen. The stylus is a separate accessory that can be used for notes, or as a remote control for the camera shutter.
At the front, the Galaxy S21 Ultra has a larger 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a dynamic refresh rate that ranges from 10Hz for static content and up to 120Hz for movies and games at WQHD+ resolution.
Around back is a monstrous 108MP main camera with f/1.8 lens and OIS, a 10MP tele with OIS and up to 3x zoom, another 10MP tele with up to 10x zoom, and 12MP ultra-wide with a 120 degree field of view. The main camera has a phase detection AF system, while the laser AF allows for more accurate focusing. For video, all four cameras can record in 4K. The selfie shooter has a 40MP sensor in tiny punch hole on the display.
Battery capacity is set at 5,000mAh with Wireless PowerShare, and fast wired and wireless charging. The rest of the specs are the same as the other two, featuring an Exynos 2100 processor with 5G, AKG stereo speakers, IP68 certification, and Samsung DeX integration.
Here are the prices of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series in the Philippines. All three phones will be available for pre-order starting January 15 until January 28, 2021. Pre-orders will come with freebies worth up to Php 20,000.
On the first week of availability from January 29 to February 7, pre-orders will get an additional Php 2,000 worth of accessory token and Php 2,000 worth of Samsung Care+.
From January 29 to March 31, Samsung will launch its Trade-in Trade-up promo, wherein you can trade your old phone for discounted rates.
