After ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack last year for its line-up of products, much to the company getting flak, Samsung is reconsidering the incorporation of the jack plug on the coming year’s Galaxy S21 series in a bid to experiment whether it will affect sales.
The information came from tipster and Twitter user @MauriQHD who claims that Samsung is pondering the return of the 3.5mm audio jack for its 2021 flagships, beginning with the Galaxy S21 series.

The notion of companies ditching certain features in order to contemplate on the move later after is nothing new in the industry, however. Back in 2015, Samsung made a bold move of cutting out the expanded memory slot, only to re-adopt the same design the following year.
Back on the issue, even Sony is guilty of the exact same move when it also ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack and, then, re-incorporating it two years thereafter.
Do note that everything stated here is not yet confirmed as it is still a rumor. It pays to take the aforementioned with a grain of salt until Samsung verifies the claim.
